Eligibility: Artists and Artisans who create, design and produce their own work are eligible.
Categories: Included but not exclusive to: paintings and photography, pottery and ceramics, glass, paper, jewellery, fashion, woodwork, sculpture, fibre, metal, bath and body.
Cost: BEYOND has one size booth space which is 5’deep by 10’ wide. The cost for the three days is $345.00. You attend all the days of the show. A draped and skirted table to put in your space is an additional $30.00. Or you can bring your own table.
Included: Electrical is free, you supply your own lighting, cords and power bars. We have staff who will tape down all cords. If you order a table it will be at your space when you come to set up. Comfy chairs are provided. Name tags. Water tables. Visa and MasterCard pay station. There is an ATM in the lobby. You will receive a package with a poster and postcards. The rooms are carpeted. Some trollies are available. Music in the rooms. An art walk between the rooms. Draw table. Lots of friendly staff welcoming our quests. Elegant surroundings with a restaurant and lounge. Wheelchair and stroller accessible. Oodles of free parking. Open concept, no pipe and drape cubicles. Artist profiles with an image on the website, and each exhibitor is featured on facebook. Discount to stay at the Blackfoot Inn.
Marketing: Where do our quests hear about BEYOND?
TV, radio, online, in the paper, through email blasts. Beyond advertises to a multitude of online, print, and media sites. We have been featured on many online sites. We buy a facebook ad and tweet on twitter. BEYOND has been advertised and/or featured in Swerve Magazine, Avenue, FFWD, Metro, the Calgary Sun, and community newsletters. The Calgary Herald had two articles about BEYOND for the fall 2010 show. We were on Global TV’s morning show. CTV visited BEYOND and advertised us on the 6 and 11 news. We create a poster and postcard which are wildly distributed. We send out email invitations to our subscribers list. Our advertising is extensive and professionally managed. You, our Artists and Artisans, all help to promote the show.
